Confirming rumours, smartphone maker OnePlus announced that it is going to launch a new device on 15 November. The phone is likely to be an upgraded version of the highly successful flagship phone, OnePlus 3 that was launched in June and has been well received by consumers and reviewers the world over.

The new phone, called OnePlus 3T, aims to deliver improved performance by adopting Qualcomm's newest chip, Snapdragon 821.

"T-7 Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 is coming your way," One Plus announced in a tweet.

The new device is also likely to have a 16 MP Sony sensor in the camera to better capture photos in low light. It is also highly probable that the phone will be launched with Android Nougat 7.0 OS right out of the box.

The OnePlus 3 smartphone has already made its name as a high-performance device backed by 6 GB of RAM and a great fast-charging technology, called 'Dash Charging'. The company recently opened its online store, OnePlusStore in India. The website will focus on selling accessories for now.
