The preceding 18 months saw a presidential campaign riddled with accusations, name-calling, threats, ridiculing and neck-to-neck fight between the nominees Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. And on Tuesday night, America voted and declared Donald Trump as its next -- the 45th President of the United States.
The Internet seemed to have gone into a shell-shock but our world leaders proved to be more graceful. PM Narendra Modi was one of the first leaders to congratulate Donald Trump on his historic win.
