MATHURA -- A married woman from Delhi was allegedly raped by the head of an ashram in Vrindavan, police said on Friday.

The incident took place on 28 July when the woman along with her husband had visited Vipin Maharaj Guru's Raas Behari Trust Charitable Ashram in Vrindavan, they said.

An FIR lodged by the victim in Delhi has been transferred to the Vrindavan police station for further investigations, police said.

Meanwhile in a separate incident, a minor girl was allegedly molested by two men in Oondi village under Chatta police station, police said.

The victim's mother accused Vivek and his friend of molesting her 16-year-old daughter when she was coming home on 30 October, they said.

The girl's clothes were found torn and she was allegedly threatened with dire consequences if she reported the matter, police said.

A case has been lodged against the accused under relevant sections of IPC and the provisions of POCSO Act. No arrest has been made so far, police added.
