'Shivaay' Trailer 2: Action, Drama, And A Pinch Of Eerie

British child actor Abigail Eames really shines as Ajay Devgn's daughter.

The latest trailer for Ajay Devgn's directorial venture Shivaay was released on Monday morning. Playing the titular hero himself, Devgn portrays the role of a Himalayan mountaineer in the film.

The trailer features the young British child actor Abigail Eames as Devgn's daughter and Sayyeshaa Saigall as a friend who is helping him save his family from masked antagonists.

The striking background score adds an eerie element to the trailer, which focuses on Shivaay and his daughter's relationship. But the film also has the standard jumping off the cliff scenes, making use of mountaineering gear to slit bad guys' throats and thrilling car chases.

Shot in Hyderabad, Uttarakhand, and eye-popping locations in the Balkan mountain ranges in Bulgaria, Shivaay had courted controversy over its release dates -- it releases this weekend on the same day as Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. A taped conversation between the infamous 'film critic' Kamaal R Khan and producer Kumar Mangat also stirred up a controversy where Khan was heard saying that Karan Johar had paid him Rs. 25 lacs to praise Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
