Remember wanting to tear your hair out while watching Jodhaa Akbar? And cursing its soul stirring music for luring you into buying expensive tickets for the three-hour-long snooze fest?
The thing is, this wasn't the first time a Bollywood film was doing this to you. If you were to list out all the films you went to watch, fooled by the lovely songs, you would have irrefutable evidence of your inability to make decisions good for your health.
And oh, how many Emraan Hashmi films were you snared by, because they had utterly lovely songs?
To remind you that you should never judge a film by it's great songs, we have compiled a list of tormenting films that you spent precious money on.

1. Jhoom Barabar Jhoom. (2007)
From 'Ticket To Hollywood'to 'Bol Na Halke Halke', Jhoom Barabar Jhoom's sound track had a song for every mood - party, romance, want-to-wallow-in-heartbreak. It's another thing that the film itself was the biggest mood-killer to have come out of Bollywood ever.
2. Delhi 6. (2009)
A.R. Rahman put his soul into Delhi 6. "Arziyan", "Genda Phool", "Rehna Tu" were few of many gems Rahman gave us. The movie, however, wasn't a patch on the music.
3. Rockstar. (2011)
Rockstar's music >>>>>>>>> Rockstar's script, dialogues, screenplay, everything else. Rahman's heartbreakingly beautiful music and Ranbir Kapoor's soulful eyes, couldn't stop us from yawning in the course of the movie.
4. Aashiq Banaya Aapne . (2005)
Himesh Reshammiya was a rage during this period. "Aapki Kashish" and "Aashiq Banaya Aapne" along with its remix versions were earworm. The film, on the other hand, we are very happy to forget about.
5. Saawariya. (2007)
Let's get this straight, I slept through this movie. Shaan's "Jabse Tere Naina" and "Saawariya" in Shail Hada's voice woke me up. And I went back to sleep again.
6. Jaan-E-Mann. (2006)
I didn't "hate" hate this movie but its soundtracks were waaaaaay better than the film. "Sau Dard", "Ajnabee Shehar", "Humko Maloom Hai" were beautiful.
7. Lucky: No Time for Love. (2005)
Sadly, Aishwarya Rai's lookalike Sneha Ullal couldn't match her acting skills. But the music, scored by Adnan Sami, was way above average.
8. Kyun! Ho Gaya Na... (2004)
We are sure this film exists so that all that gorgeous music could make its way into our lives. Shankar Ehsaan Loy's always wins it.
9. Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. (2006)
This film didn't go down well with Karan Johar's biggest fans too. But, oh my goodness, the music was incredibly beautiful.
10. Yaadein. (2001)
How many times did you fall asleep while watching this film? Apart from the promise of sizzling Hrithik-Kareena chemistry, the songs of the film were responsible for making us watch the film.
11. Zeher. (2005)
Emraan Hashmi has countless good soundtracks associated with his name. For example, no one remembers what is movie was about, but the songs, several people love to this day.
12. Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute to Love. (2007)
The huge star cast couldn't save this Titanic.
13. Tashan. (2008)
Saif Ali Khan in a blonde wig summed up what the film was -- a DISASTER! Yet, 'Chaliya Chaliya' was a club favourite and one of the coolest song that featured Kareena Kapoor. Even 'Dil Haara', 'Falak Tak' did well with audiences.
14. Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. (2009)
Given that it released in 2009, Andaz Apna Apna directorRajkumar Santoshi's film starring Ranbir Kapoor looked incredibly dated. In fact, it was uncannily like 90s slapstick comedies starring Govinda. Very few people liked the film but pretty much everyone watched it thanks to its great sound track. It is safe to say that 'Tera Hone Laga Hoon' still rules the couple dance tracks list in India.
15. Kites. (2010)
Kites = Nightmare. Kites music = beauty.

16. Raanjhanaa. (2013)
Kolaveri Di star Dhanush gave his everything for this dream Bollywood debut. While AR Rahman's heartwarming score can brighten up any day, can't say the same for the film.
17. Bluffmaster! (2005)
"Right Here Right Now" and "Boro Boro" are still on my playlist. The story is, however, a bluff.
18. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. (2016)
The whole film is an ode to Bollywood references with no attempt at subtlety. The most controversial movie of the year also happened to be the most clichéd one. The only relief is its music.
19. Baar Baar Dekho. (2016)
Passionless performances by Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra coupled with banal script sealed the fate of this 400 buck worth of sleeping pill. Btw, "Kaala Chashma" has 122m views on YouTube. And you could listen to pretty much every song on its sound track on a loop.
20. Aisha. (2010)
Amit Trivedi can almost never disappoint you with his music. Wish he wrote the screenplay and directed too. The movie is like an expensive champagne with no fizz.
21. Paathshaala. (2010)
What do kids do in paathshaala? Sleep, right? That's how the film treated its audience.
22. Kismat Konnection. (2008)
Frankly, it was almost an embarrassing movie to watch. Almost, since the music was really lovely.
