Apple's newest phones, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, will be available in the Indian market from 7 October. E-commerce portals, Flipkart and Amazon, are already taking pre-orders and offering some very good deals on the phones.

The iPhone 7 starts from ₹60,000 and the iPhone 7 Plus from ₹72,000 for the 32 GB models. The 128 GB and 256 GB variants of both the phones are priced at ₹70,000 and ₹80,000 for iPhone 7 and ₹82,000 and ₹92,000 respectively for iPhone 7 Plus.

Flipkart has listed most iterations of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, and is offering a discount of up to ₹24,500 in exchange for an old smartphone. Almost all the smartphone brands are included in the exchange offer.

In addition, Citibank card holders will get a cashback of ₹10,000 on the purchase of an iPhone. This offer is valid only until 1 October and the cashback will be credited by 8 January 2017. Sadly, the jet black colour iPhone is not available for pre-orders in India.

Amazon is also offering a clutch of deals on Apple's latest smartphone. The e-retailer is offering a discount of up to ₹16,000 with a smartphone exchange offer. Additionally, consumers who exchange their old phones for an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus, will also get a gift card worth ₹4,000.

Pre-ordering customers who have Amazon Prime will get an additional gift card of ₹500. And, Vodafone is offering an additional 9 GB data with 1 GB data on its network with the purchase of iPhones. Amazon will also offer an 80 percent discount on eBooks downloaded from the Kindle store for up to ₹1,000, and this can be availed upon the purchase of an iPhone.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus come with significant new improvements. Internally, there is an improved chip, bigger battery, and better image processing. The phones don't have any headphone jacks and the earphones can be attached through the lightning ports. The iPhone 7 Plus has a higher 3 GB RAM capacity as compared to 2 GB for iPhone 7. It also has a dual camera setup for improved in-depth imaging.
