It's been months since the Hrithik Roshan-Kangana Ranaut controversy broke, but it doesn't seem like a resolution has been reached yet.
The story about a supposed affair gone torrid played out entirely out in the open with a lot of accusations and counter-accusations from both parties. But Kangana Ranaut dominated popular narrative, with public opinion staunchly in her favor.
Now, in an interview to Hindustan Times, Hrithik's father, director-producer Rakesh Roshan has given his stance on the case.
Speaking to HT, he said, "Hrithik is different. Even when someone was spreading lies about him, he chose to stay calm and dignified. If he does choose to come out with the truth, it will shock everyone."
When asked why he hasn't spoken about the case so far, Roshan said, "He is busy with his upcoming movie (Sanjay Gupta's Kaabil). Once he gets free, he might speak about it. It is his choice."
The Hrithik-Kangana controversy started when Kangana called him a 'silly ex' in a Pinkvilla.com interview. Hrithik reacted to this by saying an "affair with the Pope was more likely."
Soon enough, both actors, who have worked in films like Kites and Krrish 3, were sending legal notices to each other, with Hrithik firmly denying the affair while Kangana maintained that they were indeed involved with each other.
