Caught On Camera: Bihar Police Drags Dead Body With Rope Tied Around Neck

Bihar Police tied a rope around the neck of a dead man and dragged the body for hundreds of metres.

In a shocking display of callousness, some policemen in Bihar's Vaishali district were seen dragging a dead body tied with a rope around its neck.

According to a video clip that is doing the rounds on social media, villagers spotted a dead body in the river Ganga and reportedly informed police officials.

Later, policemen were seen dragging the body with a rope tied around its neck. Apparently, no ambulance or health workers were used to retrieve the body from the river.

A large crowd had gathered at the spot but no one objected. However, after the video was circulated, top officials acted quickly to suspend two police officers involved.
