It's been over six months since Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif broke up after being in a relationship for nearly six years, part of which they spent living together in a cozy Bandra apartment.

Despite their split playing out in the media and taking up a fair amount of air-space, both parties have maintained a stoic silence, until Ranbir gave an interview to senior journalist Rajeev Masand, acknowledging the break-up and terming Katrina a 'motivational entity' in his life.

Now, in an interview with FirstPost, Katrina, who so far had been very guarded about what she says about their relationship, finally said it like it is when one goes through heartbreak.

When asked if there'll be sympathy for her once her new film, Baar Baar Dekho, opens in theatres, she said, "I don't think anyone gets sympathy in break-ups. I think break-ups are tragic, breakups are painful, end of any relationship leads to devastating time for everyone involved. I don't think it is a matter of sympathy or not sympathy or a matter of support."

She also said that the failure of her last release, Fitoor, had made Baar Baar Dekho a very important film for her. "Baar Baar Dekho is a very important film for me. My previous release, Fitoor was not very well received at the box office and that was definitely heart breaking. This makes all the more important to me that I once again come with a strong film that gets audiences' love."
