Hrithik Roshan became the latest Bollywood actor to be the victim of an online attack after his Facebook page was hacked on June 6.

After taking over Roshan's Facebook page, the unidentified hacker changed the display picture and began live streaming a video -- that shows what is likely to be his own face. Around 500 people joined in, only to realise that it wasn't the actor who was conducting the live stream. The actor's Facebook page has around 16.3 million followers.

Later, Roshan confirmed that the page had been hacked but was now been restored. "An enterprising individual managed to hack my page earlier in the day. However, the matter has been taken care of and the page is mine once more," the actor wrote on Facebook.

The hack comes a few months after Roshan was embroiled in a controversy over a series of emails sent to Kangana Ranaut, from what he said was a 'fake' email ID. Ranaut had also alleged that Roshan hacked into her email accounts and deleted several posts.

Last year, the Facebook pages of actors Shahid Kapoor and Irffan Khan and the Twitter account of Amitabh Bachchan were also hacked.
