There Was No Bra Scene In 'Baar Baar Dekho', Says Its Director

Well, what has all the fuss been about then?

Nitya Mehra, the director of the upcoming romantic drama Baar Baar Dekho, has denied reports about Censor Board asking them to delete a scene showing a bra, from the film.

Talking to reporters in Kolkata, where the team is currently present for promotions, Mehra said, "There is no scene in the film with Katrina wearing a bra so it can't be cut. It is a clean film. It has got a UA certificate," the Indian Express reported.

On Tuesday, DNA carried a story that said two scenes -- one showing a woman's bra and another a reference to the porno comic Savita Bhabhi, were deleted on the insistence of the Censor Board.

But apparently the scene doesn't exist in the film in the first place and going by the director, the CBFC gave the film a clean chit.

HuffPost India reached out to producer Ritesh Sidhwani to get a comment but he declined to comment on the seemingly strange turn of events.

Produced by Karan Johar, Ritesh Sidhwani, and Farhan Akhtar, Baar Baar Dekho features Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra in leading roles and is slated for a September 9 release.
