On Thursday, a couple in Bihar got married after a court gave them a deadline for it.

According to reports, the Bihar court asked Digvijay Kumar Paswan to marry Pooja after she filed a complaint against him for making an obscene video of her and sharing it on social media.

The couple who has been together for four years, had an argument earlier this month. Paswan, then, to seek revenge posted a video of Pooja on social media.

When she came to know about the video being circulated, she registered a police complaint against the accused.

Paswan was arrested. However, the Jamui civil court told the couple to marry each other within a fortnight.

The couple married each other in police custody. Paswan was in handcuffs during the ceremony and sent to jail afterward.

The girl was sent to her in-laws residence.
