This was a month back.

Almost a month back, when the Olympic athletes from India hadn't reached Rio and were training hard for it, The Quint shot a video with the three women wrestlers--Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik and Babita Kumari.

The three champions were training camp in Lucknow, when they were asked about their expectation from the Olympics.

"There is a lot of pressure, I have waited for the Olympics for 12 years. But I am very nervous," said Sakshi.

When wrestler Babita Kumari was asked who will the medal among the three of them, she said it will most likely be Vinesh Phogat. "She is well trained, I am expecting her to win a medal," she said. "I hope to win one too," she added.

At this point, Sakshi jumps in and tells Babita, in jest, that though she has not named her, but she will win a medal. "I know I will win a medal," she said confidently.

Sakshi then goes on to say that the Olympics category will see the highest number of medal for India.

We are not sure about her second prediction, but first prediction was bang on.

Last night, Sakshi Malik won India's first medal at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, after defeating Kyrgyzstan's Aisuluu Tynybekova in women's freestyle 58Kg wrestling.

The 23-year-old from Haryana is the first woman wrestler from India to bag an Olympic medal and only fourth female athlete from the country to climb to the podium at the biggest sporting event in the world.

Meanwhile, wrestler Vinesh Phogat's campaign at the Rio Olympics came to a painful end after she suffered an injury half-way into the first period of her 48kg freestyle quarterfinal fight against China's Sun Yanan.

And today, Babita Kumari will begin her campaign in the women's freestyle 53 kg event.
