Huawei Launches Its Flagship P9 With Dual Camera In India At ₹39990

Huawei is betting big on the famed dual camera feature of the phone.

Huawei made another addition to the growing population of dual-camera phones in India with their flagship product Huawei P9 today. At an event in Delhi the phone was unveiled at ₹39990.

Originally, the phone was announced at an event in London this year in April. The company has partnered with one of the leading camera makers Leica for the lenses.

The rear of the phone features two 12 MP sensors. One of the sensors is to capture the light in color while the other sesnor captures that in monochrome. Purpose of the two sensors is that the picture would have more depth, contract and details as compared to a camera with a single lens.

The Phone has a 5.2 inch full HD display. Under the hood it runs on company's own Kirin 955 processor with The full metal body also sports a 3D fingerprint sensor. Huawei P9 has a 3000 mAh battery.

The phone sports a 3 GB RAm and it has 32 GB of Internal storage. The front camera of the phone is of 8 MP.

The phone will be available exclusively on Flipkart from 3 PM today. The price point is a tough to sell one for the company especially when a great phone at OnePlus 3 is seliing at ₹27999. But camera might just prove to be winner for the company.

Huawei India is offering premium services to their customers as well. That includes two years of warrenty, 3 months of screen replacement guarentee, and three months of product replacement for a hardware fault.

Huawei P9 might also face competition from its own Nexus 6P of last year. Considering the software updates and the dropped prices it is still an attractive phone to buy for many consumers.

The phone is one of the many phones launched this year with a dual-camera setup. The year started with LG option for dual-camera in their flagship LG G5. Later on, Huawei, Honor and Xolo followed the suit. The latest member of the family is LeEco and Coolpad's first joint phone Cool 1 after their merger.
