Monday’s wild weather had people throughout the Northeast running for cover, but it also led to some great photos and videos.

Henrik Moltke of The Intercept captured this footage of a lightning bolt striking the Empire State Building in New York City. He also shared an image on Twitter:

”The Empire State Building is a lightning rod for the surrounding area,” the landmark’s website states. “It is struck by lightning an average of 23 times per year.”
