There is no escaping it. Your social media has filled up with PokemonGo updates. Whether or not you are interested is irrelevant -- those updates will find you.
To begin with though, if you are playing Pokemon in an Indian city, there are some very obvious hurdles, like how to download the app since it has not been officially launched in India. But has that stopped people from playing the game? Obviously, no.
In all this Pokemon mania, an unusual trend has been spotted. One that must have been devised by the local chapter of the All India Parents' Association. As a good-souled Redditor, ImagesOfIndia, asked on Reddit, "Why are so many Pokestops temples?"
Seriously though, nobody knows.
Redditor theacidbull, too, started quite an enlightening discussion when he posted that 'Playing PokemonGo in India is almost a pilgrimage'. And should we be concerned that more than the required share of players agree with this?
Mothers in India must be happily surprised at their kids who are going to religious places and parks all over the city suddenly #PokemonGO— Shiladitya M (@shiladitya) July 11, 2016
Well, whatever is going on between Indian parents and PokemonGo, it seems to be working!Suggest a correction
