About 10 kilometres off of Sultan Bathery in Wayanad, you’ll find these beautiful tree houses that overlook a 140-year-old 200-acre spice and coffee plantation. A full 40 feet above the ground, the rooms have been built on giant jack-fruit trees offering a tranquil respite to travellers who love their privacy. Unlike the children’s version, these 770-square-feet minimally but pleasingly decorated rooms are huge and have giant attached bathrooms.
For those who like their feet firmly planted on the ground, but don’t want to miss out on the experience, the property also features a tree-house dining room, called The Pavilion.
The boutique resort also offers several forms of entertainment such as fishing, treks, and canoeing. Guests are also welcome to see for themselves century-old traditional farming methods that have been preserved by the plantation owners.
