Italian actress Caterino Murino, who appeared in the 2006 James Bond film Casino Royale as Solange Dimitrios, is making her Bollywood debut soon.

She plays a major role in the upcoming suspense thriller Fever, directed by Rajeev Jhaveri and starring Rajeev Khandelwal and Gauhar Khan in lead roles.

In an email interview to Hindustan Times, she said that it was "one of her dreams" to act in a Bollywood film. "But, I have to say, I wasn’t offered a ‘traditional’ Bollywood script [with songs and dance sequences]," she added.

She rued the fact that Bollywood films don't get distributed as far and wide as American or French movies do, adding that she has watched the likes of Jodhaa Akbar (2008), Devdas (2002), and Salaam Bombay! (1988). "I’d love to do more Hindi films, learn Hindi, take Indian dance lessons, and shoot in your beautiful country (India),” she said.
