The league season is over but the football fans have a reason to rejoice this year because they won't be deprived of the action in coming few weeks. From today, UEFA Euro 2016 is starting at 11.30 pm IST featuring 32 countries of the European continent. The tournament is being held in France And here is how you can follow the action from various mediums.

Sony in partnership with ESPN is the official broadcaster of the tournament in India. All the matches will be telecast on Sony Six And Sony ESPN's SD and HD channels. Sony Six will have the Hindi commentary while Sony ESPN will host English commentary. This arrangement may change due to the schedule of the tournament. Google is also celebrating the occasion with a Doodle today.

Apart from this, your can follow all the action and team news on UEFA's official Euro 2016 website. You can play games such as Fantasy Euro 2016, score predictors and Golden boot predictor. You can also download UEFA's official app on Android and iOS.

ESPN has launched an app in India for their regional content and they have merged ESPN FC into the football section. "We want to bring the global ESPN content including the Euro 2016 coverage from Paris to Indian sports fans. We are also going to have a show in Mumbai which will feature prominent Football personalities of India," said Ramesh Kumar, Vice President Head of ESPN India and South Asia. The channel has also tied up with Twitter. They are providing live scores and alerts through the direct messages using the hashtag #TwitterPostbox

The hosts France are considered to be the favorites for the tournament. But England and Belgium are considered to be in the race too due to the young and talented squad. It surely will be an exciting contest to watch for the world. The tournament will be a showcase of big players such as Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba.
