Actor Razak Khan Passes Away At 62. Here Are Some Of His Most Memorable On-Screen Moments

Veteran actor Razak Khan passed away on Wednesday after suffering a cardiac arrest. He was 62.

Khan suffered a heart attack at 12.30 am today after which he was rushed to the Holy Family hospital in Bandra, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. The actor was dining at Sheesha restaurant in Mumbai when he felt a sudden uneasiness in his chest, ABP reported.

The funeral will be held at Narialwadi Kabaristan, Byculla, after 4 pm on Thursday as hospital authorities wait for his son Asad to land in India. Asad works for Etihad Airlines and is based in Abu Dhabi. He's on his way back from Croatia.

Popularly known as Ninja Chacha for his role in Sohail Khan's Hello Brother (1999), Khan made his Bollywood debut with Satish Kaushik's Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja in 1993. Subsequently, the actor was seen in comic roles in various movies like Baadshah (1999), Ankhiyon Se Goli Maare (2002), Haseena Maan Jayegi (1999) besides several others (nearly 90 in total).

He also did a cameo in R.K. Laxman Ki Duniya on television.

Members of the film fraternity mourned the loss of the actor.
