The BJP is set for a thumping victory in Assam, the Trinamool Congress led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is looking at a second term in West Bengal, the Left has swept Kerala and the AIADMK has proved exit polls wrong to come back to power in Tamil Nadu under the leadership of J Jayalalithaa. In the union territory of Puducherry, the DMK-Congress is leading.
