WATCH: Ranbir Kapoor And Deepika Padukone In This Intense Deleted Scene From 'Tamasha'

Ranbir Kapoor Goes Batshit Crazy On Deepika Padukone In This Deleted Scene From 'Tamasha'
&TV

Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha, which released in November last year, polarised both audiences as well as critics.

Despite stellar performances by once real-life couple Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, the film was a commercial failure and oddly didn't even make any noise at any of the award ceremonies.

Now, a day after its world television premiere, a deleted scene from the film, which shows an intense exchange between the two leads, has been released by the TV channel.

The clip shows Kapoor's character Ved going through an intense emotional breakdown in front of Padukone's character Tara, who seems to have come over to his place to sort out their issues. In the version that was released, the scene was reversed — we saw Ved going over to her place, resulting in an awkward, forceful confrontation.

In this scene, however, Ved also forces himself on Deepika, seemingly to prove a point, but that too is missing from the scene that finally made the cut. The scene further illustrates the phenomenal talent as well as chemistry that the two share — one of the reasons Ali roped them in for Tamasha.
