Kupwara Emcounter: Two Terrorists Killed In Gunbattle

KUPWARA -- Security forces have gunned down two terrorists in an encounter with security forces that is underway in Lolab area of Kupwara district in Jammu and Kashmir.

The surrounding Puthshahi area has been completely cordoned off as security forces are trying to smoke out the remaining two terrorists who are still hiding in the area.

The Army and the Jammu and Kashmir police have launched a joint counter strike against the terrorist in a massive gunbattle which began early morning today.

The identities of the slain terrorists are yet to be ascertained.
