In a major embarrassment to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), a senior minister of Madhya Pradesh government was caught on camera touching a woman, allegedly in an inappropriate manner, during an event in Bhopal.

Home Minister Babulal Gaur was seen touching the woman, seemingly in an inappropriate way, while she passed by him to board a bus.

Gaur, who has won 10 assembly elections from Govindpura in Bhopal, rubbished the allegations terming them baseless and said that the he was only asking the woman to move fast since the place was very crowded.

Gaur has found himself in an embarrassing spot in the past as well. The minister in May last year created an awkward moment when he described to a Russian woman how wore his dhoti without a belt.

In June 2014, while talking about rape, Gaur had said that it “is a social crime which depends on men and women. Sometimes it’s right, sometimes it’s wrong,“ according to The Independent.
