Veenu Paliwal loved the road and her Harley Davidson.
In a tragic accident, Paliwal, one of the leading woman bikers in the country, died in a road accident when her bike skidded off near Gyaraspur, 100 kilometres from Bhopal. She was on a nationwide tour.
"When the going gets tough, the tough get going," she wrote in her last message on Facebook, describing the hurdles her team had to face during their journey from Durgapur to Lucknow.
The 44-year-old had been sharing moments from her journey on Facebook since it began on 25 March.
Here's a look at it.
Flat tyre wasn't a big deal for the bikers.
"Every ride is an experience...every day a learning...every difficulty is a challenge... Every overcoming a new turn," she wrote.
Paliwal had clocked 17,000km since November and aimed to hit 50,000km in a year, before upgrading to a Road King.
And, this was her last post.
