BJP Expels Mahil Morcha Chief For Making Controversial Statements Against Minorities

'Those Who Polished Our Shoes Once, Are Now Ruling Us,' Says BJP Mahila Morcha Chief

LUCKNOW -- BJP state Mahila Morcha chief Madhu Mishra was today expelled from the party for six years over a controversial statement made by her in Aligarh recently.

Taking strong note of her remarks, State BJP president Laxmi Kant Bajpai today expelled her from the party for a period of six years, party spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said in a statement issued here.

Mishra had said recently:

"Making use of the constitution, remember these people who are ruling over you used to once polish your boots. This happened because we were divided."
