Just a day after the news of the sudden death of Balika Vadhu fame Pratyusha Banerjee, ex-manager of Priyanka Chopra has said that the Bollywood actor tried committing suicide a few years back.

Prakash Jaju, Priyanka Chopra's ex-manager, in a series of tweets has said, that the former Miss World tried committing suicide a couple of times in her struggling days.

PC may look very strong now but she was also very vulnerable in struggling days, tried to commit suicide 2-3 times but i managed to stop her

Jaju, in his tweets has also mentioned about her troublesome relationship with ex-boyfriend Aseem Merchant and the frequent fights between the two. One of the tweet mentions the time when the Dil Dhadakne Do (2015) star drove to Vasai to end her life.

3 ... Ek baar madam, aseem se zhagda karke car leke vasai chali gayi suicide karna, badi mushkil se samjha buza ke wapis bulaaya :) ...

Why to hide when she didnt care about me :) ... Daily pc & aseem main zhagda hota, raat ko 2-2, 3-3 baje rote hue mujhe phone karti & main

— PRAKASH JAJU (@Prakashjaaju) April 2, 2016

2 ... usko raat ko 2-2 baje aseem ke ghar ke niche se apni car main leke aata, phir usko samjha bujha ke uske ghar chodta.

Jaju also said that Priyanka, who is currently shooting for her upcoming Hollywood project, Baywatch, was allegedly very close to her ex Aseem Merchant's mother and tried committing suicide after her death in 2002.

PC was very close to Aseem merchant's mother, her death in 2002 shattered her so much that she tried to jump off karan apt to commit suicide

2 ... i reached at nick of time & caught hold of her & tied her to a chair till grills were fixed in all the windows of the flat.

Things have not been well between Priyanka and Jaju since she allegedly terminated his contract in 2004, and he retaliated by filing a criminal case against her for not clearing his dues.

Jaju had also served 67 days in prison after Priyanka's father, late Ashok Chopra, filed a case against him in 2008 for intruding his daughter's privacy.

"Prakash Jaju is doing this for publicity; he just want to get his name in the newspapers. He is doing this to tarnish Priyanka's image. He should remember the time when his parents begged Priyanka to take her complaint back," Priyanka Chopra's PR representative told HuffPost India.

Priyanka's mother, Madhu Chopra, reacted on twitter saying:

@ChopraLover@1lovePC that lying bastard spent time in jail...his old mother and father fell at Pc's feet begging forgiveness.
