Google's Getting Everyone Ready For The T20 World Cup With A Doodle

Google is getting everyone ready for the upcoming cricket World T20 by dedicating a doodle to the India vs New Zealand match. The T20 world cup is being played in India this year and the first match of the main round is between the hosts India and the Kiwis which is being played at Vidarbha Cricket Association stadium in Nagpur.

The super 10 round which starts today has 10 countries participating including 8 top ranked nations and 2 qualifiers Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Those two countries topped their groups in qualifiers which were played over the course of the last week. India is certainly the favourites for the tournament having recently won the Asia cup and the winning 10 T20 international matches out of last 11 they played.

If you click on the Doodle it will take you to the match experience centre in Google search, where you can see date wise fixtures latest scores, results, videos and much more.

The search giant also launched improved mobile experience for the world cup recently. Explaining the features in the blog post, the company said that users can simply search "Cricket match", "T20 Cricket" or "T20 score" and it will take them to the list of games. Once you click on the game you will have lot more details like expanded scoreboard, points tables, stats, news related to that game.

If a user clicks on the particular team or a player he can see more details about the squad or the player. The information will be available both in Hindi and English. The scoreboard is refreshed automatically so you won't have to refresh the page. Users can also ask questions like "When Is India's next match?" to get results. T20 world cup's final will be played at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on 3 April.
