WATCH: 'Baaghi' Trailer Is Full Of (Literally) Bone-Crushing Ultraviolence

The Trailer For 'Baaghi' Is SUPER Violent (And Reminds Us Of Something)

Action movie fans, this one's for you.

Sabbir Khan's Baaghi, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger Shroff, looks like a gleefully violent movie featuring its two good-looking stars — both at the prime of their fitness — kicking some serious butt.

The trailer looks like a typical Bollywood masala love story combined with a plot that is reminiscent of Indonesian crossover hits such as The Raid: Redemption (2011) and its sequel. The Baaghi trailer is full of intense, bloody hand-to-hand combat that recall the bone-crunching action sequences of those movies based on the Indonesian martial arts known as Pencak Silat. Some, on Twitter, have also pointed out the similarities with the movies of Thai actor Tony Jaa's films and The Karate Kid (1984).

Kapoor has stated earlier that the film is not a remake of the Salman Khan starrer Baaghi: A Rebel For Love (1990).

The film, which also stars Telugu actor Sudheer Babu in his first Bollywood outing, is set to release on April 29.
