BULANDSHAHR -- In a shocking incident, a government hospital for women in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr District was turned into an entertainment hub, leaving patients at the mercy of mere attendants.
In the video, which is being widely shared on social media, staff of the hospital can be seen enjoying a marriage party inside the premises.
The video shows hospital staff dancing to the tunes of Bollywood numbers at the function even as patients were left unattended.
"There were no doctors to attend the patients. Several patients were waiting for assistance in delivery but no staff member was present," said a hospital attendant.
The incident took place during the marriage ceremony of daughter of one of the hospital staff members which was conducted inside the hospital premises on 28 February. Till now, the state health ministry has kept quite on the incident.
