Just when we thought we knew everything about biryani, Pinterest proved us wrong.

While the usual mutton and chicken varieties have been thrown into the mix (because, let's face it, we couldn't do this list without them), it turns out there are a whole bunch of ingredients that can star in a biryani -- from eggs to mushrooms, and even turkey.
