NEW DELHI -- Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) president Dushyant Dave on Monday resigned from his post.

The rift within the SCBA involving Dave and Secretary Gaurav Bhatia has led to the resignation of the SCBA president.

Dave took this step after he was condemned at the Executive Committee meeting held today.

The rift between Dave and SCBA Secretary Gaurav Bhatia had come to light when Dave had absented himself from the farewell function of Justice MY Eqbal.

This had led Chief Justice Thakur to open up about the same while expressing his hope that things are resolved soon.
