KOLKATA -- A person was injured after two motorcycle-borne miscreants fired gun shots outside the Loreto School at Convent road in Kolkata on Monday.

The victim was shot in the leg and was rushed to the nearby hospital.

Two bike borne armed men opened fire outside Loreto School in Kolkata this morning, one person injured.

The site where the militant was shot is reported to be near the jute mill.

Police have reached the spot to identify further details and a man-hunt has been launched against the miscreants.

Meanwhile, security has been tightened outside the school in light of the shooting.
