CHENNAI -- More than two lakh fishermen in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry continued their strike for fourth day today demanding the return of detained fishing boats by Sri Lanka.

According to reports, the fishermen have announced that they are going to intensify their stir and block the Karaikal port today.

Earlier, Sri Lanka had released 102 Tamil fishermen lodged in Lankan jails as good will gesture last week. However the fishing boats of Tamil fishermen were not released as deterrent measure.
