Samsung's Dual-Sim Note 5 Priced At Rs 51,400 Launched In India

Samsung, the biggest name in the smartphone industry in India, has launched the dual-SIM variant of its popular Note 5. Priced at Rs 51,400 for the 32 GB version, the phone is available at the Samsung eStore for Sale.

The company, which had a very good 2015 on the back of its Galaxy S, A and J series phones, is gearing up for a wide range of products launch in the month of January even though Chinese manufacturers have eaten into its lead.

Galaxy Note 5 is the flagship phone for Samsung with a 5.7-inch QHD screen and 4 GB of RAM. It also has Samsung's own Exynos Octacore processor. The phone packs a solid 16-megapixel camera with f/1.9 aperture. Its 3000 mAh battery will carry you through the day.

Samsung is also set to announce its Gear S2 smartwatch and Gear VR virtual reality headset in India this month. Phoneradar said its not clear what variants of the watch will be launched and how VR will be priced.

Gear S2 is Samsung's latest smartwatch running Tizen. The IP68 certified smartwatch has 105 GHz dual core processor, 4 GB or storage and 512 RAM. It connects with smartphones on low energy Bluetooth v4.1. It also has Nike+ compatibility and NFC connectivity.

Gear VR is Samsung's Virtual Reality headset, which is made in partnership with Oculus. The company has recently launched the consumer version of the headset which will be coming to India. It is priced at $99.99 in the US, so expected price can be Rs 9000-10000. This headset is only compatible with selected Samsung Galaxy phones like Galaxy S6 and Note 5.
