Asin And Rahul Sharma Are Officially Married, And It's All Thanks To Akshay Kumar

Actor Asin Thottumkal officially tied the knot with Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma in a private church ceremony in the Capital on Tuesday morning. The wedding took place in Dusit Devrana, and shall be followed by a Hindu ceremony in the evening.

Actor Akshay Kumar, who claimed responsibility for playing the couple's matchmaker, was also present at the wedding. Incidentally he was also the first to be invited to the wedding -- the bride had shared an Instagram post earlier asking Akshay to be her best man, along with other sneak peeks of the wedding invites designed by EDC (Entertainment Design Company):

Asin made for a stunning bride in an elegant Vera Wang ensemble, and will switch to a Sabyasachi outfit for the Hindu ceremony.

The wedding will be followed with two receptions: one at Rahul's farmhouse at Sonali Farms, West End Greens, and another in Mumbai for film fraternity members.
