MUMBAI -- Sooraj Pancholi says he would prefer to stay mum on the alleged suicide case of his ex-girlfriend Jiah Khan, even as CBI has in its chargesheet accused the actor of driving her to commit suicide.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) filed the charge sheet on 9 December, citing that Sooraj made false promises to Jiah, who allegedly committed suicide in 2013.

"Highs and lows are part of life. God is great. The case is still in court. 10 people have 10 different things to say about it. I will talk once the case is cleared. I don't want to make a 'khichdi' (mess) out of it," the actor told reporters at the red carpet of 11th Guild Awards.

The 25-year-old actor was launched in Bollywood this year by Salman Khan in Hero.

When asked if he has the superstar's support in the case, Sooraj said, "Salman has got nothing to do with it. Like every family, my family is supporting me and I am supporting my family.
