Actor Ranveer Singh has broken the walls around Bollywood’s worst-kept secret -- the infamous casting couch that seems to exist for men as much as it does for women in the industry.

During an appearance on NDTV's Walk The Talk With Shekhar Gupta, he revealed his experience with a ‘sleazy gentleman’ that took place in the latter’s home in Andheri.

“Casting couch is a very real thing, I have experienced it firsthand,” said the actor dispelling any doubts anybody might have had on the topic in the past. Instead of looking at Ranveer’s painstakingly-compiled portfolio, the man tossed it aside, and instead tried to inappropriately touch him, and then tried to negotiate with him, after the actor refused.

Later the actor discovered that several of his colleagues had undergone the same experience. He even mentioned a conversation with a fellow actor who claimed that the same person had also tried to seduce him in the bathroom of Café Coffee Day.
