Every evening, Indian soldiers and Pakistan soldiers parade at the Wagah border, near Amritsar in Punjab, India. This parade is very unique as it follows rituals and modus operandi followed during independence days. The idea is to relive the proud independence moments every day.This parade is open to the public of both India and Pakistan and visitors come in huge numbers to enjoy this amazing event and to get as close as possible to the India-Pakistan border.

The Indian Army has a great collection of ads exhorting the youth to join the forces. The ads promote the army as the largest logistics manager, a company that makes a recruit a "CEO from day one," and takes care of family for life. The ads show recruit involved in a range of challenging situations and not necessarily in combat mode. It's not just guns and war but also a lot of brick and mortar.
