Twitter

Harbhajan Singh and his long-time beau Geeta Basra have finally taken the much-awaited plunge into marital bliss, and their wedding celebrations are breaking the internet. At least in India, they have taken the social media by a storm.

This big, fat Punjabi wedding seems like a suitable curtain-raiser for this wedding season in India. After all, it has been making headlines for quite a while, right from the time the invites were designed and curioisity about the couple's wedding outfits was stoked.

AD Singh tweeted out images of the cards designed by Kapil and Sandy Khurrana’s Entertainment Design Company earlier this year:

Harbhajan and Geeta were both dressed in Archana Kochhar ensembles for the sangeet. The trousseau also includes creations from Raghavendra Rathore and Babita Malkhani.

Cricketing buddy Yuvraj Singh had double the reason to celebrate, as Harbhajan's wedding date fell on his mother's birthday
