WATCH: Here's 100 Years Of Bollywood In 200 Seconds Of Beautiful Sand Art

A man who calls himself India's first sand animation artist has left his incredible etchings on the sands of time. Literally.

Using a back-lit board, a whole lot of sand and his crazy imagination, sand artist Rahul Arya takes his audience through 100 years of Bollywood, right from India's first silent film, Raja Harishchandra (1913), to 2015's Bajrangi Bhaijaan. As timeless songs from the films play in the background, characters magically blend into each other at the touch of Arya's fingertip.

Arya represents each film by it's striking characteristic -- be it the the iconic couple under the umbrella in Shree 420 or the caped vigilante of Krrish.
