MATHURA -- Three children, aged eight, nine and a five-month-old baby, died due to dengue at Kondhara village in the district.

"While 8-year-old Astha and 9-year-old Bhavana died yesterday, 5-month-old Ashu died on Sunday. Over a dozen persons are in the grip of the fever in Kondhara village," village Pradhan Ashok Chaudhary said.

Taking stock of the situation, the District Magistrate has ordered the CMO to rush the team of doctors to the village.

"Slides of the people down with fever will be prepared and Larvisidal will be sprayed in the village and those suffering from fever will be provided best possible treatment. If need be, doctors will camp in the village", DM Rajesh Kumar said.
