20 Years Of DDLJ: This Beautiful Documentary Steeped In Nostalgia Will Make You Crave The Film

Has It Been 20 Years Already? Here's A 'DDLJ' Documentary Steeped With Nostagia You Can't Miss

October 20 officially marks 20 years of Shah Rukh Khan's and Kajol's most epic onscreen romance, 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge'.

To mark this love story, which is also one of the longest running films, Yash Raj Films has released a special 'Making of The Film' feature that showcases behind-the-scenes footage, along with the entire crew and cast from DDLJ, back then and today, reminiscing about special moments.

Even after more than 1000 weeks of screenings, the film continues to enthrall a generation of Indians who have been schooled in the virtue of parental approval. The music from the film (by Jatin-Lalit), even today, continues to pull at heartstrings and the cinematography is fantastic. In the documentary, Shah Rukh talks about not wanting to be cast as a romantic hero. His antics on screen, Yash Raj's impromptu interviews, Kajol's natural bubbliness - every feature of this documentary is irresistible and cannot help but bring a smile to your face.

The rest is best watched. Check out the documentary that is out in three parts on YouTube (above) and here:
