Actor Sidharth Malhotra, who was recently appointed New Zealand's Tourism Ambassador for India, is making the most of this opportunity.

Over the past two days, the Brothers actor has been travelling the country in a trip that, as he tweeted, has been "a great mix of adventure sport n sight seeing".

The first thing he did after landing in Auckland was a 'skywalk' on the city's tallest tower, Sky Tower, which at 328 metres (1,076 ft) is the tallest man-made structure in the Southern Hemisphere. Malhotra's skywalk, in which he is seen wearing a harness attached to a safety line, was at a height of 192 metres.

He then flew to Wellington — where the headquarters of renowned visual effects company Weta Digital and special effects/props company Weta Workshop are located — and met Sir Richard Taylor. Taylor, a five-time Oscar winner best known for his make-up and costume work on Peter Jackson's The Lord Of The Rings trilogy, gifted Malhotra a replica of Frodo's 'One Ring' and even turned him into an elf, as reported by Mumbai Mirror (click to see picture and story).

He then met John Key, the Prime Minister of New Zealand, who gifted him an All Blacks jersey, worn by players of their national rugby team, and wished them luck for the ongoing 2015 Rugby World Cup.
