It's not an usual sight to spot a Brazilian author engaging in a Twitter chat with a Bollywood actor. Not just that. They are also exchanging gifts.

On Monday morning, Shah Rukh Khan sent across a collection of his films to Paulo Coelho to introduce the celebrated author to the world of Hindi films.

That kind of made the author's morning.

He posted a picture of the collection of movies that he has received, asking people to suggest where he should begin from. The list includes historical drama Asoka, Chak De! India, Om Shanti Om, Swades and Ra.One among others.

The actor then decided to help the author with his suggestions.

The Khan-Coelho bromance doesn't end here.

Coelho also said that the actor deserved an Oscar for the movie My name is Khan. That's the only movie he has watched of Khan's.

"His first (and only) movie that I watched (this year, even if it was released in 2008) was "My name is Khan". And not only the movie was excellent, but SRK deserved an Oscar if Hollywood was not manipulated . He kindly offered to send the other titles - as you probably guess, it is not easy to find them in Switzerland," Coelho wrote on his Facebook page.

Coelho is now sending SRK 'special editions' of some of his books. The author is best known for his book 'The Alchemist'.

Over to you, Mr Khan.
