Saul Hudson, better known by his stage name Slash, is finally coming to India for a two-city tour this November. The British-American guitarist and songwriter, who is best known for his work with American rock bands such as Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver, is frequently counted as one of the top axemen in the world.

Fans of the musician were left disappointed in 2013, when a much-promoted India tour was reportedly cancelled by the promoters due to logistical problems.

This time, he is being brought down as part of the second season of MTV Indies Xtreme, a rock music and adventure sports festival that brought down American thrash metal heroes Megadeth last year. Slash will be playing two shows — November 7 in Mumbai and November 14 in Bengaluru — with Myles Kennedy (vocalist of alt-rock band Alter Bridge) and The Conspirators, his backing band.

According to RadioAndMusic.com, tickets for the two shows go on sale this Friday.

*Horns up, fingers crossed*
