East India Comedy Shows Us How The Government Bans Things In Latest Sketch

Unless you live under a rock, you know that the State has proposed several bans in the recent past. Residents of Maharashtra cannot eat beef anymore and Maggi is yet to make its promised comeback; however, others such as the porn ban didn't last very long.

On Wednesday, comedy collective East India Comedy uploaded a new sketch commenting on this state of affairs. Featuring actor-comedian Abish Mathew with EIC members Kunal Rao, Sapan Varma, Angad Singh Ranyal, and Azeem Banatwalla, the video depicts a group of government officials discussing things to ban. While thinking of ideas that will stick, they consider options such as EDM, cupcakes, and catchphrases like YOLO (yes, please, we're with you on this one).

As Mathew's character puts it:
