First Look: Rajinikanth As An Aging Gangster In His Next Film 'Kabali'

CHENNAI-- Overlooking the city skyline with legs crossed and hand resting behind his head, superstar Rajinikanth turns a don in his next Tamil outing "Kabali".

The film, whose first look was unveiled on Twitter by his two daughters Soundarya and Aishwaryaa, will mark the "Robot" star's 159th movie.

According to the film's debut poster, Rajinikanth, 64, who plays the titular role, is all geared up for the shooting.

"@superstarrajini arrives in and as Kabali," Aishwaryaa added.

Directed by Pa Ranjith of "Madras" fame, "Kabali" also stars Radhika Apte, Dhansikaa and Kalaiarasan.

Rajinikanth's last two Tamil projects-- 3D epic fiction "Kochadaiiyaan" and action drama "Lingaa"-- had a lukewaerm response at the box office.
