A 15-year-old national-level Judoka was allegedly gang raped in Gurgaon. The incident took place about a month ago, but the girl refrained from complaining as her three assailants had threatened to kill her, police said. The Class 11 student and her family only registered the complaint on Monday.

According to the police, the victim has said in a written complaint that she, along with a friend, was walking towards her home after meeting her coach in Porakhapur village when the three accused, who were passing by in a car, passed lewd comments at them. When she protested, they dragged the girls into the car and drove away.

After about 15 minutes, they threw the victim's friend out of the car and threatened her to kill her if she told her parents about this.

"Then they forcefully made the victim drink water spiked with sedatives, stopped the car at an isolated place and raped her. When she regained consciousness, the accused threatened to kill her entire family if she reported the assault to the police," a senior officer told ABP Live.

“As soon as we got a complaint from the victim, we registered an FIR under sections 376-G (Gang rape), 120 (Concealing design to commit offence punishable with imprisonment) of the Indian Penal Code and under various sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POSCO) Act,” Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Rajesh Kumar Chechi told the reporters.

The victim only complained because the accused had returned and had started following her. That's when the victims parents, who are farmers, registered the complaint at Bilaspur Police Station in Gurgaon.

“We've started investigating and have already arrested one of the accused identified as Kartik,” said the officer adding that Kartik, 22, a small businessman, has confessed to the crime.

“His two other friends at large,” added the officer.
