11-Year-Old From Jharkhand Carries Sick Brother On Shoulders For 8 Kms To Get Medical Aid

11-Year-Old Carrying Sick Brother On Shoulders For 8 Kms To Get Medical Aid Is Heartbreaking

Maalti Tudu, an eleven-year-old from Godda, Jharkand, traversed eight kilometres to find medical help for her sick brother. But that's not the amazing part: the courageous child carried her seven-year-old sibling on her shoulders the entire journey till she reached Sadar Hospital, the nearest medical facility.

Even then, it took a while to attract the attention of the medical authorities.

Social workers and other people heeded the cries of the exhausted orphan, and after hearing her story, immediately took action.

Thankfully the two children were then driven back to their village in an ambulance.

Watch this short, yet incredibly heartbreaking video of the incident.
